10.31.14 | face timeline

“Where has your beloved gone, most beautiful of women? Which way did your beloved turn, that we may look for him with you? My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to browse in the gardens and to gather lilies. I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine; he browses among the lilies” Song of Songs 6 : 1-2

I was rummaging my files of pictures and look what I found? A compilation of my looks from year to year. Whoah! Time maneuvers fast and I haven’t noticed I aged this much. Age is undeniably adding and I can’t help but be in stagger.

This file originally had timeline from 2005 – 2011 only and is posted in my blogsite in December 2011. I adjoined year 2012-2014 to update the timeline. I was trying to retrieve some photos from the first job I had to 2004, however, I need to scan those old ones as those were all in prints (digital cameras are yet to be discovered then).

2005 – 2006 : taught kids in Victory School

2007 : trainee in BPO – Ambergris (now Telus)

2008 – 2013 : worked in another BPO HSBC

2014 : working as an Account Officer for HMO in HISCOR Insurance & started photography

Age is just a number, right? I thought that looks always resembles the age, but through the years I’ve seen how God can transform your looks into a something amazing the same way he transforms our character in an unbelievable manner. Mature in character but stay young in looks. I’ve seen a lot of people who has God in their lives who looks incredibly young  year after year! You won’t even guess how old they are.

Of course, there are many ways to stay young. Not to mention the laughter which is priceless, and the beauty products or workout to stay and look young. But having God is the best way ever.

09.19.12 | rodel-olive wedding

Taking a stroll down memory lane. I love looking at old pictures and I happened to bump into this file while checking on pictures I can post for my blog.

These pictures were traces of my urge to shoot wedding events. This was the first wedding photograph I took – Rodel and Olive’s wedding on January 24, 2004 @ Josephine’s Restaurant (overlooking Taal Volcano) in Tagaytay. I’m not really sure who lent me the camera since I didn’t have one that time. I’m relieved that person did!

The night was breaking and this shot turned out perfectly fascinating.
While the couple posed for the official photographer, I took time to snap my camera to get a few shots of the two. This one turned out well.
Loved this effigy! Very candid yet I managed to get the shot I want.
The Bridesmaids. Waiting? (from left) Avic, who is now married to Pido and lives in Japan with their baby. Yami, who is still on the wait for the man of her dreams. Rose, who keeps herself busy with outreaches from overseas (particularly Mongolia) to Philippines. TinTin, who is now married to a funny man, Jason.
Flower girls with Ring bearer and Bible bearer.

02.05.12 | goodbye doesn’t mean forever

The months that passed in 2011 was so much fun I can’t seem to contain the gratitude in my heart to the people who helped me achieve something I promised for myself with my career. There might be sadness but I can only reminisce with smile in my face the great time had with TEAM PONG.

Boss Pong: I want to be honest, I thought I’ll be more hopeless when I was forced to join the team – talk about scorecard and annual performance review. Nevertheless, I was amazed that I have learned something that I can keep and be proud of when I move to another level of my progress. You are one person who believed in me when I gave up on myself and when each of the Managers closed their doors to any opportunities for my success, thinking I’m beyond recall for one flaws I had. I sincerely appreciate how you look at my potential and my abilities despite what these managers decided to think about me and how you chose to turn your ears from the unfavorable words against me. You believed that I am prominent than anyone else who were promoted and you refused to accept that I can’t become a better person just because they only focus on my “infuriated” attitude on challenging calls. You believed that I can change given the right guidance and encouragement I need from a boss like you.

I’m sorry if I acted rudely towards your leadership out of pity and anger. It’s just not so fair to combine all the bottom performers in one team with a bottom Manager and a most challenging schedule. It seems like the MO put us altogether for our own destruction. It’s like a descent way of saying “you shouldn’t be in my umbrella. If I can’t make you leave on your own accord, let this circumstance make you leave without hesitation.”

I really appreciate how you listen to your agents’ suggestion of getting back to them with the revenge of giving the best team performance ever, that made them stand with jaws dropping, trying to figure out how our team get to the top in 6months. From bottom to Top. How did it happen? It’s TEAM EFFORT! No one should be left out for this success.

I respect you as my leader. I still do (kahit puro green lang pinag-uusapan natin! hahaha)! Iba ka eh! When you yell at us, you mean business. You mean concern. You mean progress. And when you don’t say a word when we make mistakes, you mean giving up. You mean you don’t care anymore. It’s odd, right? Out team is unique eh.

Take my SUP (ervisor) call pa rin if my new AMO is not around ha?

Thank you for ALL the GIMMICKS @ Getaway, BK101, ClubZen and Timog night outs and Carinderia dinner. I felt like I was back in my youthful days because of those Gimmick days (naman! hayz!)

To all my team mates:

Thank you for calmly tolerating my IRATE mode (I know. i know. you will miss it.). I hope this will not limit you to believe in what I can do and what can be changed. I presume that I can still be conspicuous in your lives in some other ways. My prayer is to see each one of you reach the goals you have set for yourselves to succeed.

Please forgive me if I somehow scarred you for words I have said & actions I have shown.

I enjoyed each time with all of you. Though we encountered misunderstandings during our year together, I still look forward to the FRIENDSHIP I can only find with HONEST people like you. I will always bear with me your smiles and your outcry when our team gets difficult callers even if I leave this company.
