Before 2016 ends I have covered a wedding of another music ministry colleagues. People are getting married on December! Party overload. I’ve known the groom since he was studying college and he was a singer/guitarist of the church’s music ministry in Pasig. I’ve seen how he grows not only in the ministry but in his walk with God. He often hugs me whenever I see him at the church or somewhere else and he still does until now. I often call him Jumong since he looks like the Korean drama character Jumong. The bride is a guitarist also and a chef now.  She joined our new Victory group just recently.

09.19.12 | rodel-olive wedding

Taking a stroll down memory lane. I love looking at old pictures and I happened to bump into this file while checking on pictures I can post for my blog.

These pictures were traces of my urge to shoot wedding events. This was the first wedding photograph I took – Rodel and Olive’s wedding on January 24, 2004 @ Josephine’s Restaurant (overlooking Taal Volcano) in Tagaytay. I’m not really sure who lent me the camera since I didn’t have one that time. I’m relieved that person did!

The night was breaking and this shot turned out perfectly fascinating.
While the couple posed for the official photographer, I took time to snap my camera to get a few shots of the two. This one turned out well.
Loved this effigy! Very candid yet I managed to get the shot I want.
The Bridesmaids. Waiting? (from left) Avic, who is now married to Pido and lives in Japan with their baby. Yami, who is still on the wait for the man of her dreams. Rose, who keeps herself busy with outreaches from overseas (particularly Mongolia) to Philippines. TinTin, who is now married to a funny man, Jason.
